  • Step into Osuna-fumi, a sand-stepping ceremony believed to purify the soul

What is the Goma Fire Ritual?

The Goma-taki is a spiritual fire ceremony in which wooden prayer sticks (Gomagi) are burned while chanting, symbolizing the release of worldly desires.
At Kannon-in, this ritual is uniquely paired with Osuna-fumi, where participants walk on sacred sand around the fire to receive its blessings.

  • 40% cancellation fee for cancellations made 1 day before
